Welcome & Acceptance

Welcome to the Unified Appointment Booking System (UABS). By using this app you agree to these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy. Please read them carefully before booking appointments or sharing health information.

What UABS Is (And Isn't)

UABS connects you with hospitals, clinics, and doctors for appointment booking and related services. We are a booking platform — the diagnosis, treatment, and medical advice you receive is solely the responsibility of the hospital or doctor you consult.

Your Information & Privacy

Information you provide, including medical history, emergency contacts, and insurance details, is used to facilitate your care and shared with the hospital or doctor you book with. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

Your Responsibilities

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, including during emergencies. Misuse of the emergency SOS feature or providing false medical information may result in account suspension.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • Self-cancellation: Appointments may be self-cancelled any time up until a short window before the scheduled appointment time (shown to you at the time of booking) — once that window begins, the appointment cannot be self-cancelled.
  • Rescheduling: Allowed a limited number of times within a limited window before the appointment; the exact limits are shown to you at the time of booking or rescheduling and may be adjusted by us from time to time.

Fees, Refunds & GST

The consultation fee is set by the hospital/doctor and is GST-exempt; a platform fee is added by UABS and is subject to GST, both shown before you pay along with your invoice. If you cancel within the allowed window:

  • Doctor/Healthcare Fee: refundable per the cancellation policy, after deducting the payment gateway's transaction/processing fee applicable at the time of the refund.
  • UABS Booking/Platform Fee: non-refundable once the booking service has been successfully provided, with no credit note issued.
  • GST: being applicable to that taxable UABS fee, is treated the same way and is not refunded.

Multi-visit packages purchased through the app are tied to your account and the specific doctor, are non-transferable, and are governed by the same cancellation/refund rules as individual appointments.

Queue Estimates & Reviews

  • Queue token numbers and estimated wait times shown in the app (including for walk-in and QR-based check-in) are indicative only and can change based on real-time clinic conditions.
  • Ratings and reviews you submit must reflect an appointment you actually attended.

Changes to These Terms

These terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the app after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
